Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to some of the most common questions about EarthOnated Ozonated Olive Oil, our manufacturing process, storage, shipping, and product quality.

How Is Ozonated Olive Oil Made?

Ozonated olive oil is made by introducing high-strength ozone gas, produced from pure oxygen, into virgin cold-pressed olive oil at a continuous, concentrated flow rate. During this process, the essential fatty acid molecules in the olive oil are converted into longer-chain molecules called ozonides. Once the olive oil becomes fully saturated with ozone, it develops into a thick ozonated paste. Processing time depends on the volume of oil being produced and may take up to three months or longer when manufacturing large quantities.

What Are the Ingredients in Your Ozonated Olive Oil?

100% Extra Virgin Cold-Pressed Olive Oil — First Pressing

Highly concentrated humidified ozone gas.

No parabens or GMOs (genetically modified organisms). Our ozonated olive oil is made from simple, natural ingredients.

Do You Use Medical-Grade Oxygen to Make Your Ozonated Olive Oil?

No. We do not use medical-grade oxygen. The oxygen contained within the cylinders comes from the same type of oxygen filling and production process. Our focus is on using high-purity oxygen to produce concentrated ozone for the ozonation process.

What Determines the Quality of Ozonated Olive Oil?

Many companies manufacture ozonated olive oil, and the quality and strength can vary. Important factors include the oxygen regulator flow rate, the ozone generator being used, ozone concentration, the quality of the olive oil, and the length of the ozonation process. Properly controlled processing produces a highly saturated, high-strength ozonated oil.

Will Your Ozonated Olive Oil Break Down During Shipping?

EarthOnated Ozonated Olive Oil has been tested at room temperatures of approximately 70°F (21°C) and above for periods exceeding three weeks. When the jar was inverted, the ozonated olive oil did not run freely. Our product is a highly saturated ozonated oil and is designed to remain stable during the normal shipping process.

Do You Freeze Your Ozonated Olive Oil Before Shipping?

No. We do not freeze our ozonated olive oil prior to shipping.

Does Ozonated Olive Oil Have to Be Refrigerated?

We recommend keeping ozonated olive oil refrigerated between uses to help maintain its quality, consistency, and potency for as long as possible.

What If I Forget to Refrigerate My Ozonated Olive Oil?

If the product is accidentally left out for a period of time, there is generally no need to panic. Simply return it to the refrigerator as soon as possible and continue storing it refrigerated between uses.

Should Ozonated Olive Oil Be Stored in a Plastic Container?

We do not recommend storing ozonated olive oil in plastic containers. EarthOnated uses appropriate product containers to help protect the quality and integrity of the ozonated oil.

Do Your Ozonated Products Contain Nitrous Oxides?

EarthOnated’s ozonated products are produced using cold corona-discharge ozone generators with dual-dielectric tube technology. The design separates generator components from the inline gas stream and is intended to help maintain the purity of the ozone used during production.

What Is the Shelf Life of Ozonated Olive Oil?

Proper storage greatly helps preserve ozonated olive oil. EarthOnated recommends keeping the product refrigerated between uses for maximum longevity and product stability.

Do You Sell Your Ozonated Olive Oil Wholesale?

No. We currently sell our ozonated olive oil directly through our website. Our products are not sold through walk-in commercial storefronts.

Do You Have a Walk-In Store Where Customers Can Pick Up Their Orders?

No. We do not currently operate a walk-in retail storefront for customer pickups. Orders are shipped through Canada Post, or by courier when special arrangements are made.
